The purpose of this group is to assist men with expressing emotions integrated with intellect. Through this group therapy, group members may:

• Learn and explore characteristics associated with masculinity, such as competitiveness, aggressiveness and independence
  
• Share and explore mutual goals and concerns
  
• Learn how to develop friendships with other men and rely less on “one woman”
  
• Lessen the rigid and destructive role models that are promoted by culture and mass media
  
• Learn to be better fathers and begin to resolve personal father issues
  
• Experience a safe environment to explore feelings of rejection and abandonment

Members: 7-10 men ages 18 and over
